Patterned after the "neighborhood watch" program, SafeWatch promotes individual and collective responsibility for incorporating the VT Principles of Community in interpersonal and intergroup relationships, and for understanding and following stated university policies related to harassment, discrimination, violence, or similar behaviors or activities that create a hostile, unsafe, and insecure environment.
